Until October 2nd, you can try out the new functionality offered by eBooks on EBSCOhost to download books to your personal eReader (unless you use a Kindle - Amazon's DRM system is proprietary and doesn't operate with non-Amazon systems). All you need to do is create a MyEBSCO account (if you don't already have one) and download Adobe Digital Editions and install it on your computer. Watch this video to see how it all works:
Only around 50% of titles in eBooks on EBSCOhost are downloadable. If the book is accompanied by an icon that says Download (Offline), it should be available for download.

The Library is Offering Four New Databases This Year...Try Them All!
Art Full Text - Features full-text articles, abstracting and indexing of an international array of peer-selected publications, podcasts, and page images.
Communication & Mass Media Complete - Coverage of more than 770 academic titles, with full-text availability for over 450 journals. In addition, find keywords with the Communication Thesaurus.
Films on Demand - Films on Demand is a streaming video platform which allows for real-time viewing of educational videos. With a multidisciplinary scope, Films on Demand offers over 9,000 streaming videos which touch on topics spanning the arts, sciences, and humanities.
SPORTDiscus - Academic journals focusing on sports & sports medicine, providing full text for 550 journals, with the majority of titles being exclusive to this database. Note: Subscriptions is for 4 simultaneous users. Try back later if you're having problems accessing SPORTDiscus.

Here are the library's hours now that school is back in session. Hours are always available under the About the Library section of the Library's Web site. The library will be closed on Saturday-Monday for the Labor Day weekend and will reopen on Tuesday, September 6th. To see hours for other holidays and finals, click here.
