Traveling Exhibit Tells Unknown Story of German-American
Civilian Internment in the United States during World War II
The Traces Center for History and Culture will bring their traveling museum to Concordia University on April 8th. The Bus-Museum will be open for viewing between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. The bus will be parked outside the theatre building in the parking lot on Hamline Avenue.Â
At 12 noon in the Buetow Auditorium (music building), Michael Luick-Thrams, who was interned in a camp along with other Germans and Japanese for 4 years and was almost deported, will present his powerful story.Â
Both the Bus-Museum and the Presentation are free and open to the public.Â
